Peanut wanted to wear her boots outside on a warm sunny day to play. These are not rain boots, but are actually suede maroon winter type zip up boots....
Mommy: "No Peanut, it's sunny and nice out, you're not wearing your boots"
Peanut: "But I want to"
Mommy: "You'll look really silly"
Peanut: "No, they make me look cool."
...She ends up losing this battle as is outside in her running shoes playing. After a while she comes inside and changes into her boots while mommy is busy with her baby bro and doesn't notice...
Dad: "Peanut, what are you wearing? I thought we told you not to wear your boots"
Peanut: "But Dad! They make me feel good, you don't understand, they change how I feel, my attitude, they make me feel braver!"
