boyfriend...or not

Peanut came home from school with a story about what a boy said to her on the bus....

Mommy: "What did he say to you?"

Peanut: "He just told me that he loved me and that he was going to marry me"

Mommy: "Really? Is he in your class?"

Peanut: "Yup, he told me that when he got home he was going to tell his mommy that he has a girlfriend and that it's me"

Mommy: "Did he say that to all the girls?"

Peanut: "Nope, just me"

Mommy: "And what did you say back to him?"

Peanut: "I told him that when I got home I was going to tell my mommy that I don't have a boyfriend"

brother woes

Peanut's little brother was following her around the house as she was playing...

Peanut: "Stop following me!"

Mommy: "He just wants to hang out with you cause he loves you and he thinks your so much fun"

Peanut: "Well, it's annoying me. It's annoying me and it's intriguing me."

hips n babies

Mommy and Peanut were sitting together on a chair, it was a little tight...

Mommy: "Is this comfy for you? It's kinda squished cause mommy's big hips"

Peanut: "Ya, why are your hips big?"

Mommy: "Cause I've had 2 babies, when you have babies your hips get wider"

Peanut: "Well, I hope you're done having babies"

Mommy: "I've got a baby in my tummy right now"

Peanut: "I know, but after this one I hope you're done"

Mommy: "Why?"

Peanut: "Cause, your hips are going to get way too big, and that might hurt you if they're too big and you can't fit in the chair"

back to school

On Peanut's first day of senior kindergarden when mommy came to pick her up from her day care after school...

Mommy: "So, how was your first day back?"

Peanut: "GREAT! I loved it and I made a new friend on the bus! She's in my class and she's on my bus!"

Mommy: "Oh that's great sweety!"

Peanut: "Ya, I saw her and I thought that I wanted to sit with her and be her friend because I liked the style of her face!"
