burning ears

We were eating breakfast one morning, Peanut was having oatmeal....

Peanut: "Ooh, my ears are burning (covers her ears with her hands)"

Mommy: "huh?"

Peanut: "Oh, it's just every time I eat something hot, my ears burn"

Playing Doctor

We were at the dr's office waiting to be seen while out of boredom and impatience, Peanut decided to play dr, mommy was her patient....

Peanut: "So, what's bothering you?"

Mommy: "Oh, I'm just tired."

Peanut: "No, don't you have anything wrong, like any applications on your body that are hurting you?"

Peanut: "Daddy, when we go to heaven is mommy still going to make supper, or is God going to make supper?"

Daddy: "I'm not sure, we'll have to ask Him when we get there."

Peanut: "What do you think He'll make us for supper? Do you think He'll make macaroni and cheese? Do you think it's His favorite too?"
