oh bug

Mommy may have slipped a bad word in front of Bbears....luckily he can't quite get the pronounciation right....
While watching Dora on TV, Bbears always asks if another one is coming on because on the dvds there are 3 or 4 episodes...

Bbears: "mommy, is another one coming on?"

Mommy: "Nope, this is on TV, there's only 1 episode"

Bbears: "Oh bug!"

Napaneze

We were on our way home from a visit with family...

Peanut: "Where are we?"

Mommy: "In a town called Napanee"

Peanut: "Oh. How do you say 'hello' in Napaneze?"

This is why

Bbears has a new response to his questions, no matter what the answer is...

Bbears: "Mommy, what's that" / "Mommy, what are you doing?"

Mommy: (doesn't really matter what the answer is, today I responded with, "it's just a thing")

Bbears: "Oooooh, that's why"

mother nature...or something like it..

When we had a big storm, Peanut had a lot of questions about why it was happening...

Peanut: "So, why does mother weather want to storm on us?"

Power outage

We had a big storm the other day and it caused the power to go off, Peanut was a little confused...

Peanut: "Why did all the lights just go out?"

Mommy: "Because there's a power outage from the storm"

Peanut: "But the sink's power still works?"

ocean

Mommy bought a new pool floaty for both Peanut and Bbears, a queen swan and a lightning McQueen, to use in grandma and grandpa's pool. Of course they had to be blown up the second we got home...

Bbears: "Please, I want to go to grandma and grandpa's ocean"

anything's a song

Walking through the garden centre, the kids were playing around and dropping stuff on the ground, including Bbear's sippy cup...

Mommy: "Guys, don't drop things on the ground here, there's bad stuff on the ground like manure."

Peanut: "What's manure?"

Mommy: "It helps plants grow, but it's actually animal poop so it's bad for us"

Bbears: singing, "Animal poop, animal poop, animal poop..."

The singing continued throughout the shopping, while standing in line at the cash, while loading up our purchases in the van, and even a few days later while at the dr. office for our checkup.
