boring...?

Peanut has been on a huge daddy kick these past few months. Mommy was giving Peanut a bath and Peanut would have much rathered daddy do it. At the end of the bath while mommy was drying her off...

Mommy: "There, all done, sorry if it was horrible because it was boring old mommy and not daddy doing it"

Peanut: "It wasn't horrible. You're not boring mommy. Everyone's boring. Daddy's boring, even I'm boring, even chinese are boring, they just sit around and stare at Panda's all day and then they go to sleep, so boring. They sleep all day, all the time, it's all they do is sleep"

Mommy: "Where did you hear that?"

Peanut: "Nowhere, I just know it cause I'm smart and I remembered"

exotic chipmunks?

Daddy and Peanut were at McDonald's for a daddy daughter date, and the kids meal bag had ads for the Chipmunks new movie on it...

Peanut: "Look daddy! Chip n Dale's!"

Daddy: "Actually Peanut, it's called The Chipmunks"

Peanut: "Ya, well, Alvin's my favorite!"

Later on as they were walking through WalMart and see the stand with the new movie for sale...

Peanut: "Look daddy! Chip n Dales!"

Poolshark Peanut

Mommy and daddy had talked about how once the basement was finished they'd set up a pool table. Peanut must have overheard us talking about this, but never mentioned it or asked any questions. Daddy was down in the basement once it was all complete, Peanut came down to check it out...

Daddy: "So, what do you think?"

Peanut: "Looks great...but daddy...where is the water table?!"

Peanut wanted to play on the computer and wanted to go on "playhousedisney.com" but mommy was stuck because Peanut's little brother was sleeping on her on the couch. So mommy told Peanut how to get on, and wrote all the letters down on a piece of paper for her....

Peanut: "Mommy, I tried it 3 times and its not working, I tried it once, and then again, and even again and it's only grown up stuff coming up, no games or anything."

Mommy: "You wrote exactly how I told you, playhousedisney.com and then you did enter?"

Peanut: "Yes, I did what you put on the paper, nothing is working"

Mommy: "ok, I'll come help you" (manages to get up without waking up lil bro and goes over to the computer and sees what Peanut typed in...)

Taco Christmas?

Peanut has learnt a new rendition of the ever popular spanish Christmas song. It goes something like this: (written as she pronounces it)

Peanut: "felice namina, felice namina
felice namina, buenos tartos a stinky bum...."

sleeps

Over the holidays we had family come visit and stay with us and Peanut had a blast sharing her room with her cousins. When they left, she didn't like being alone in her room all night so she started a bad habit of coming into mommy and daddy's room in the middle of the night to sleep...

Mommy: "Peanut, you were up late last night and you have school tomorrow so you need to get some good sleep tonight."

Peanut: "If you want me to sleep through the night you better let me sleep in your room"

Mommy: "No, you're going to sleep in your own room and stay in there all night"

Peanut: "If I can't sleep in your room I'll wake up all night, so if you want me to rest good then you have to let me sleep in your room"

That night Peanut actually made it through the night in her own bed...

Mommy: "See, you slept in your bed all night and didn't get up, don't you feel well rested now?"

Peanut: "Yes, but I only slept good because I pretended I was in your room"
