lil bro's turn

So, it begins already, lil bro is quick to step up to the role of hilarious kid...

Bbear: "Slam Bang Bang!" (hitting daddy on the head with a DVD case)

Daddy: "Ouch, hey, that's not nice, no hitting. What do you say?"

Bbear: "Thank you?"

Daddy: "No, what do you say?"

Bbear: (pauses to think, then bends down and whispers in daddy's ear) "Go to sleep daddy....go to sleep"

not retiring, quite yet...

So, I know it's been a while and the posts are getting fewer and farther between, Peanut is just getting too darn smart as she gets older and the things coming out of her mouth are surprising due to their sheer intelligence not so much their absolute cute ironic misconstrued childlike view of things anymore. It's sad, but at the same time her lil bro Bbear is talking more and more each day, so it won't be long before this 2 and a half year old prince takes over his big sister's blog. So, to the readers, we are not retiring, we are taking a mid-sabbatacal and will return shortly with the views of Peanut's lil brother, who idolizes his big sis and has a strong, amazing and silly personailty of his own so there's bound to be some fun reading ahead.

Mommy had a friend who's a photographer come over to take some professional pictures of our family, and then to take some maternity photos of mommy who's expecting a baby brother or sister for Peanut and BBear. Mommy had on a sports bra type top for the photos to show the belly...

Peanut: "Mommy, how come he's taking pictures of your boobies?"

Peanut's hair was a total mess, I mean with bangs looking like an 80's rock star mullet mess...

Mommy: "Wow Peanut, your hair is something else right now"

Peanut: "Whaddya mean?"

Mommy: "It's a big mess"

Peanut: "That's because I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!"
