husbands on the run

Peanut was telling us about who she sits next to in class...

Peanut: "But I don't sit beside Nathan, he's got a new girlfriend now"

Mommy: "Oh really?"

Peanut: "Yup, but I don't want to marry him any more so it's ok"

Mommy: "I thought you didn't want to marry anyone yet"

Peanut: "No, now I want to marry Adam, but he doesn't know yet. Cause if I tell him that then he'll make me chase him to kiss him"

At breakfast this morning, Peanut was talking about our family and the new addition on the way...

Peanut: "There is 4 of us, but soon there will be 5 of us!"

Mommy: "Yup"

Peanut: "I hope it's a girl cause I want to have a girl so I can play Barbies with her"

Mommy: "Well, it'll be a while before the baby can play Barbies"

Peanut: "Well, I'll give her one without any clothes so she doesn't choke on them"

Mommy: "I think she'd just chew and drool on the Barbie"

Peanut: "I'm going to pray to God for a girl, because God's the one who brings the humans you know"

Daddy: "Well, what's more important than if it's a girl or a boy is that the baby is healthy right?"

Peanut: "Yes, ok, God, please make sure the baby is healthy....and a girl"
