Over the holidays we had family come visit and stay with us and Peanut had a blast sharing her room with her cousins. When they left, she didn't like being alone in her room all night so she started a bad habit of coming into mommy and daddy's room in the middle of the night to sleep...
Mommy: "Peanut, you were up late last night and you have school tomorrow so you need to get some good sleep tonight."
Peanut: "If you want me to sleep through the night you better let me sleep in your room"
Mommy: "No, you're going to sleep in your own room and stay in there all night"
Peanut: "If I can't sleep in your room I'll wake up all night, so if you want me to rest good then you have to let me sleep in your room"
That night Peanut actually made it through the night in her own bed...
Mommy: "See, you slept in your bed all night and didn't get up, don't you feel well rested now?"
Peanut: "Yes, but I only slept good because I pretended I was in your room"
